I've had five of these break. Shades become brittle and break into pieces from heat, arcing in the switch, gooseneck fell off, weighted base fell apart, poorly cast threads, etc.
Looking for basically the same thing, but one that won't just fall apart. Sadly, everything that isn't this style of lamp is considerably more expensive. I'd prefer something around or below 30 USD that can take two or more E26 bulbs.
