I’ve always been somewhat of a tomboy so I look in both the men’s & women’s sections when shopping for clothes.
Recently I’ve discovered that this can be a good way to save money, here’s how:
The average woman’s size shoe is an unusually small men’s size. A lot of shoe stores will mark down a particular shoe if they’re down to only uncommon sizes that are harder for them to sell.
Voila! I saved $50 recently buying some high quality running shoes, and have had similar luck in the past.
Obviously this wouldn’t work for more style-specific shoes like heels or men’s dress shoes, but for basic styles like trainers or work books it works a charm
