For those of you who didn't watch the Jeffrey Epstein documentary, don't read this it will spoiler the end....
(First Post on r/investing)
At 44:20 in the last episode of Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich (Netflix), it displays the contents of his will and all $577 million dollars of his assets including the amount of shares he had on some particular companies. He killed himself on August 10th, 2019, so some of these buy and sell entries may not ideal now.
His will contains 10,000 shares of the following....
Popular INC (BPOP), Nautilus Inc (NLS), Maple INC (MLFNF)
The others I couldn't find as publicly traded stocks (or maybe I didn't look hard enough)
10,000 shares of Laurel, Inc (US Company Virgin Island), 999 shares of SCI JEP (France)
I'm not necessarily saying to buy any of these stocks, but given the vast nature of Epstein's effect on the internet and the meme culture, I thought it was worth sharing.
$BPOP is the only one I would put money in, it's a bank that focuses on financial services in PR and Virgin Islands (where rich people hide their money - do they still do that?). They also have acquired smaller banks such as WesternBank and Doral Bank. Solid $1.6 per year divy a share and the ex-divy date was yesterday.
