Summary: The only "warranty" that Reebok offers in the US is for unused products. You can return unused merchandise within 90 days. Once they are worn, you are on your own.

I bought a pair of pants from Reebok during the recent sale. After wearing them for a day, they developed a rip. I thought "OK. That sucks. But it should be covered by Reebok's warranty."

The first Google search result of "reebok product warranty" led me to this page. Spoiler alert: There's a subtle but important detail about the URL.

The warranty text mentioned that "Any Reebok product manufactured or purchased within the last two years is eligible for a Return Authorisation." The spelling looked a bit odd. But whatever, I went ahead and contacted customer support. That's when I discovered that I was looking at the Norwegian warranty page (hence the "/no" fragment in the URL). Other than the 90 day return period for new, unused merchandise, there is no warranty for products sold within the United States.

Now it's time for me to pick up sewing as a hobby. Don't think I'll buy anything from Reebok ever again.
