I’m trying to build a drive-in on a small scale. It will be public. But it would be more like “outdoor summer movies in the park” kind of thing then a legit huge drive in. Me and my family own a good amount of property in the desert of Tucson, AZ. With COVID-19 and the lack of drive ins we decided to try and make an outdoor movie the public can come see. It would only be for 20 cars at most. My main issue is the screen. I can’t find any tutorials or videos or building the size screen I want. Maybe it’s just not possible. But I’m thinking using plywood as the back/screen. Undecided if I want to paint it white or attach material to make a screen. I saw this at a local hotel and I’d like to make a bigger version. I’d like it make it maybe like a ..10 ft high and a width or like 14 ft maybe. And be lifted about 5 ft off the ground.I’ve never tried building anything like this. I’ve never built anything. I don’t work with tools or wood. I’m level 0. I just need some guidance. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2YKlF5c
