I have 9 households that depend on me for their homes. It's my primary source of income. I have reserves and such so that I can forego income from my tenants without substantial long term consequence. I'm asking renters in stress what would be the most helpful to them. I could:

forego X months of rent

or

reduce rent 25% for X * 4 months

or some variation, I don't know , the question is:

get the relief quick and up front, or have it drawn out but guaranteed?
