I don't know if this is the right place to ask but I've had this thought many times eating out. Often times (especially at more expensive places) I want to eat food that will satisfy my hunger for most of the day, otherwise I could have just brought a snack to get me through. When picking something on the menu that "fills me up" (by volume in the stomach) or that actually satisfies my hunger for the best value, is picking something with the highest calorie per dollar a good way to go (given that I enjoy the meal) or am I making it unnecessarily not healthy for me?
