Currently, I have my ROTH and TRAD IRAs for 2020 maxed out, and am looking to invest some liquid cash into the stock market.
I am 25 Years Old.
Currently, my IRAs are allocated as such:
80% FSKAX Total Market Index Fund
20% FTIHX Total International Index Fund
I currently have 6+ months of emergency fund allocated, and am in good financial standing.
However, I have $25,000 I would like to invest. I would like these investments to serve as investments that can grow over the course of 10-30 years, but NOT necessarily used a retirement vehicle.
I am VERY unsure of the market as of late, and have a feeling it will continue to drop significantly. For this reason, WHICHEVER strategy I take, I plan on Dollar Cost Averaging for a while, rather than buying in all at once, since I plan to hold these investments for many years.
So...
- What would a good portfolio blend look like? Any recommendations on ETFs vs Stocks, or should I continue with Index Funds?
- Do YOU PERSONALLY think the market will continue to drop?
