We moved into a new place last August and due to several reasons we cannot get Wifi signal to the back room...plus my router is ancient. Anyhow, I started eyeing Google Wifi as the next big upgrade, but it wasn't updated since it was released in 2016. Then Google Nest Wifi was released November 2019, but I still decided to wait. Well, now that my fiancé and I have to working from home, we need reliable internet access to all parts so I ordered it and it is fantastic.
Earlier today, I see this ad and thought, "What the crap?! It's discounted AFTER I get it!" So I contact Google via chat and share my story. In about 10 minutes, I learned that they have a 15-day price protection (their words) and will refund the price difference between what I paid for and the discounted rate – $75.
So long story short, always ask if you get be refunded the difference after discovering a price reduction after purchase.
