Frugal tip of the day. To avoid getting screwed out of money, take advantage of the services offered by credit cards and PayPal!
Forever 21 fucked me over with a return a couple of weeks ago. Their customer service is a dumpster fire. I opened a dispute with PayPal this morning, and it's already been resolved. I got my full refund back.
Even if you don't have a credit card, or don't want to use it a lot of places, PayPal is a good option that a lot of retailers accept. I have a debit card linked to PayPal. You can also link your bank account.
Another tip is to learn how to use these services! Know what credit cards have what policies. And know how to use them. I was looking into my credit card's protections, and the processes for all of them are different. Luckily I used PayPal, and it was super easy.

I almost want to blame myself for ordering from F21 in the first place, but there really is no excuse for shitty customer service. If you don't want to bother processing returns the right way, then say you don't accept them at all.
