Budget is $2k-5k, with high hopes we can stay on the lower side of that. My wife and I just bought a couch from Article (Gaba), and while it's a great shape and size, it's insanely firm. The bottom cushions feel extremely springy and firm, and the back cushions have a crackly weird filling that is super firm. Really disappointed. I emailed them and they say it's their medium firm couch...
I was going to try Joybird, but I'm a bit thrown by how an online company can say this couch I'm sitting on right now is comfortable and 'medium firm'. And I can't go in-store to test it.
Whether it's online or in-store, does anyone have solid suggestions for a super comfortable (sink into the couch) sectional?? The Gaba is a chaise sectional, roughly 135" wide.
