I inherited a significant amount of money almost 10 years ago. I’ve felt so lost about what to do with it and have sadly let 10 years pass by with the money just sitting in a savings account. Stupid, I know. I’m ready to take charge and put my money to work now, but I’m so confused about how to do that.
Last year my work provided a “financial planner” to help us, but he was a joke! A total slime ball who cares about nothing but getting clients to buy his life insurance policies. I was so turned off.
Where do I find a reputable advisor to help me? Or how could I go about investing myself, maybe via online options? I’m located in Florida if that matters. I’m in my late 20s and willing to take a bit of a risk with the investments
