This is my first period using the cup (Saalt Soft small) as a woman with a light to regular cycle who has never had a baby.
I usually go through 2-4 tampons a day. I constantly worry about peeing on the string when I go to the bathroom and in a swimsuit or light colored pants/panties I constantly worry and can sometimes leak through.
With my 3rd day on the cup, I have not worried once about leakage or thought about my period once except for 12 hours later when I rinse and wash my cup.
I can’t tell you how much worry has been lifted off my shoulders one week out of a month now for the rest of my “fertile” life. Never switching back!
Still keeping my remaining tampons around for guests or days when I can’t use my cup (can’t think of a reason I wouldn’t have it though) but yeah
I spent $29 on the cup off amazon and on the website they have a 10% off coupon. I also bought the wash that goes with it for piece of mind when cleaning it.
The money I’ll save is tremendous. Saving the planet from using extra plastic and cotton and paper is awesome. Being able to control what I put in my body from a company I can trust is so amazing and empowering.
