I don’t know if Microsoft attempts to scrub the internet of posts like this. I was somewhat frantic earlier today when I couldn’t find any recent posts online from people who received refunds for their Office 365 subscription after their trial period ended. I was fully prepared to eat that $107.74 mistake.
I called customer service the day I was billed for the Microsoft 365 subscription (Jan 3, 2020 for anyone reading in the future), and I was issued a full refund.
Their policy states explicitly that they do not offer refunds for digital subscriptions, so I was very pleasantly surprised that calling worked.
Just a simple post to say that even if you have little hope of receiving a refund for your mistake, call anyway!
