I currently have a pair of doc martens that I really like, except the soles are terrible. They don't have good traction on ice and snow in the best of times, and turn into hockey pucks in the cold. - 40 is a normal occurrence here, so I need something that will still have traction on ice when it's that cold. I'm kinda thinking about red wing iron rangers, but I'm hesitant to spend that kind of money without knowing how the soles will be.
