Three issues...1) I was trying to take the aerator out but it wouldn’t budge. Then I felt a screw underneath the spout so I unscrewed it thinking it'll help move the aerator (it didn’t). And now I can’t seem to screw it back in. The faucet seems to work fine without the screw. Does anyone know what the point of this screw is and how I can put it back in? There's nothing to screw into because it seems like it’s just a clean hole instead of one that a screw threads into…but obviously that’s where the screw came from so I’m just so confused. Picture of screw below.https://ift.tt/2QyPjWT) Sometimes when I turn the handles, there will be a small leak coming from the handle (red area). This happens only sometimes (like 25% of the time) and only a small amount. Also where the blue area is, sometimes a very small amount of water will come from there as well. Do I need to replace the faucet? I’m hoping not. I want to take it apart so I can inspect it (maybe I just need to tighten it, not sure). But I’m honestly not even sure how to take the handles off. As for the blue area, is there some sort of glue/caulk that I can apply? I don't think water ever appears to the left of the blue area and when I look closely I can kinda see a black sealant that the right side doesn't have. What should I do?https://ift.tt/2QOtoJS) As you can see, the pipes under the sink have green stuff on it. I was afraid there might be a leak but I don't see any water and I checked the pipes in the basement and can't find any leaks there either. Is it possible that it’s just from condensation forming on the exterior pipes which then over time leads to the green colour? I’m from Canada and I do keep my house cool in the winter to save on heating (64°F/18°C) so the pipes would likely be cold. And I do often take longish hot showers. So I'm hoping it's just condensation from hot air hitting the cold pipes? Also I have hard water if that matters at all. Should I be worried about the pipes?https://ift.tt/2Ftfnft everyone!
