I made this as a comment on another post, and it seems lots of folks don't know the magic of psyllium husk fiber supplements (Metamucil is the best known brand name).
At the risk of going into TMI territory, psyllium fiber has a unique property-- whether your stools are too hard, or too soft (messy), it forms them into a predictable consistency. So if you have IBS, or if you get the runs from rice & beans, or just have chronically messy bowel movements that require way too much toilet paper, psyllium fiber can fix this.
It turns every bowel movement into a CLEAN 1-wipe-wonder.
Metamucil brand is relatively expensive in retail store, but you can find generic brands in bulk from Amazon for cheap. I use generic capsules - I take 5x caps twice daily (with lots of water!). I've also reduced my time spent in the bathroom from 5-10 minutes to 1-2 minutes. It's really miraculous!
And you can buy the cheapest TP because you only every need a courtesy wipe (no more ass irritation from overwiping). One roll of TP lasts me wayyy longer.
It also has the benefit of expanding in your stomach to make you feel full, resulting in decreased appetite (for me, anyway).
Happy pooping!
