Pushed as far back as possible there is still 10" away from wall. So I bought a 1x10 x 6' for like $7 and 3 $1.50 shelf brackets. Any ole stain or paint I had leftover because its hidden away so don't need to be fancy. You can buy the lumber 1x12 also or even 1x8 or 1x6. I bought midgrade wood, shelving quality wood would be about double and since it's hidden there's no need. I had little rubber self stick buttons made for cabinet doors so they dont slam.
