As the title suggests, this post is inspired by my desire to plan financially (and decide on a career) but I'm also concerned about the repercussions of climate change and how that will impact the future.

I turn 26 this year, I'm gonna get kicked off my parents' insurance and I have around $17k in debts (car, credit card, personal loan). At the moment I do rideshare for income but I feel the pressure to find a career with benefits that will keep me financially stable.

I have some college credits accrued, 2 semesters more and I could transfer to a university as an English major but I worry about not landing a career so I've set my eyes on studying programming.

But I'm still worried about the future, what jobs will be in demand? How different will things be 10 or 20 years from now?

Has climate change affected how you're preparing for the future? Or changed your decision on what career you're pursuing?
