I have a 401k through my employer (Fidelity). However on the screen there are 2 accounts. First being pre tax and the other called Roth. I’m assuming it’s a Roth 401k and a traditional 401k. The employer does not match. Which should I do? I currently invest 15% of my 65,000 annual salary into the traditional 401k (if I’m assuming the above correctly).

Second, I am thinking of opening an IRA. I have seen that a Roth IRA is the better option if I am doing the traditional 401k. What if I invest into the Roth 401k? What are some of the best places to open a IRA? Fidelity?

My employer is also (or offers - not sure the correct way to say it) ESOP. I think at 2 years you are 25% vested.

I have no idea what I am doing....
