I was gifted a fire bowl (link below). I already have a small propane fire pit I built that I use on the end of the pier, so I wanted to convert this one to use permanently on the deck with natural gas I already have plumbed for my grill.I sized the orifice for the 70,000 BTUs on the 7" w.c. for natural gas from the chart, and replaced the propane hose with the natural gas quick connect. It lights and gives off heat really well, but the flame is blue and hardly visible during the day, not the large yellow flames I'm looking for. Is the orifice sized wrong? Do I need to put foil tape over air inlets? Any other suggestions?Thanks.https://ift.tt/2REL5gS via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2tiFYJW
