I have approx. $25,000 saved in my daughters college account. She is 17 (turning 18 in a few weeks). This past year has been insane. She has had mental health and substance abuse issues and as a result, she's unlikely go to college soon, and may not even graduate high school. Also important to know.... she has put my husband and I though the WRINGER...stealing our cars, using our credit cards w/o permission, stealing cash, running away. I just dont trust her with such a large sum and also...I just dont want to give it to her anymore.
I have 2 younger kids (14 and 8). What do you think would be the best thing to do with these funds? Especially considering she turns 18 soon.
