Hello, I was injured at work and was forced to take an ambulance to the ER for a check up where they did a work up on me. I was asked for my insurance to pay while at the hospital but asked why this would not be covered by my job since they decided to send me and send me in an ambulance when it wasn’t needed. I was given workers comp paperwork to have filled out. Is this correct? Is there anything else I need to know? I won’t be needing any time off from work but do not want to get stuck with a 1k hospital bill I’m forced to pay.
