Thanks in advance.

I've been really working on my credit over the last year and have managed to crack the 800 barrier on all reporting tools I use (fico scorecard and credit karma) Yay! Looking forward, I would like to increase my total available credit by getting a second card. I currently have a capital one venture and use it just enough to make it worth the annual fee (~10k a year). My questions are these:

  1. If I plan on only using the new card for a bill or two, essentially Netflix, internet, etc is it actually worth it to get a new card?

  2. I really like the capital one app and have had nothing but good customer service so far. Is it beneficial to get a different company( a la amex blue cash) or would it not matter who the line of credit comes from? I ask because the Quicksilver cashbacks or Savor card seem to be good as well.

Tldr - Is getting a credit card from two different companies more beneficial than two cards from capital one?

Thanks again!
