My parents lost their kitchen skirting board years ago, and have never got around to replacing it as there is a big thick nail sticking out of the wall, I’m assuming it originally held the board in place. I want to fix it all up for them, and have bought a hacksaw to cut through it. But now I’m wondering if using a claw hammer I might be able to simply pull it out. This won’t cause any damage to the wall will it? Something always goes wrong with their house, and I’m cartoonly petrified that pulling out the nail will make the brick wall collapse. I know it won’t, but which job would be easier, less damaging? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Sl9yIX
