I'm moving to another state to be with my boyfriend, but before that, I've got to pack, and determine what I want to bring into a new life that I'm making with him. While I'm doing this, I realize that I own a dresser which is mostly filled with junk I don't need, topped with standing decor I don't need, and covered in a thick layer of dust.

Stopping to think through what I own, I'm a little bit stunned. I moved just last year and narrowed things down substantially, but here I am, realizing that I only managed to sweep away the surface. I still have a big piece of furniture which I'm not using effectively, which I don't have the energy to keep clean, and I'd never actually asked myself about why I was keeping it.

Keeping my life simple, and happier, is requiring course-corrections. But I'm glad that I'm getting better. I'm going to be trying my best to continue along this way for as long as it keeps making my life more comfortable and happy.
