Hello everyone!

I am a dual US/Canadian citizen, who's done my HS and bachelors degree in mechanical engineering in Canada. MIT offers an SM degree in Mechanical Engineering. MIT has been my dream school for the longest time, and unfortunately I'm left with the decision of whether I should attend Purdue, Georgia Tech (which are cheaper) or a non-funded MIT masters. My family are Canadian citizens and my dad works in Canada making about 60,000 CAD per year. My mom is a stay at home mom, and my 2 siblings are in Canadian universities. I don't know if Fafsa will help me much, and even if they do it might not cover the whole tuition. I am 24, and my undergrad GPA is a 3.8. I plan to apply to a thousand scholarships (NSF, etc.)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
