I've never paid taxes before (never made more than the standard deduction) but this year I've made about $22,000 from contracting work. I know I must pay taxes myself on this but I have no clue how much or what I need to pay. I've gotten a ton of conflicting information from the googling I've done and thought I'd just ask here. What form do I need to file? Do I have to mail them a check? If I don't have all the money right now, can I pay it multiple installments?

I've also made about $4000 from YouTube but that already has taxes taken out (about 24% of every check).

Currently living in Virginia, male, 22 years old, single, not HOH.
