Hello. I'm completely illiterate when it comes to personal finance. I never learned from my parents, and I'm so far behind that I just get overwhelmed when I search something general on the internet like "what is a tax refund" and "how do you pay income tax" and "what to you pay taxes on".
I'm 18, and I have $2100 in stocks to my name, not much else. I work part time and I'm going to college. I don't know how to pay income tax on the stocks. I don't want to get recircumcized by the IRS so it's in my best interest to figure it out.
I think I'm hoping for some really good articles or videos that you guys know to be good, Because I just make no progress trying to sort through things myself. I kinda shut down. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated.
