Hi all,I'm attempting to hang up a neon light on the wall (very lightweight). I picked up some big boy nails at Home Depot that I thought could for sure support the light. I believe my wall is drywall.Photos: https://ift.tt/2LQ3kN0 stupidly (and painstakingly) nailed these all the way in, only to find that the holes in the neon light are too small to slip over the heads of the nails. I could technically remove them, insert the pointed tips into the light and try and get the nails back in ... but with no clearance to hammer them back in, I believe I'm SOL.What would you recommend I do from here?Is there anything I could "hang" from the heads of the nails (perhaps a decently big S hook?) and then latch onto the light with? Can I do anything to the heads of these nails to make them smaller and therefore fit through the holes of the light? (I don't have any advanced equipment). If I were to pick up some decently large nails that had a small enough head to fit through the neon's holes, would I be able to nail them right back into these same holes? Or would they be in danger of just slipping out of this pre-existing hole.I'm clearly new to even the most basic of DIY stuff, any help is appreciated. :( via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2EoVi9T
