My boyfriend of 1.5 years unfortunately was diagnosed with a condition that effects his spine last year. He has to go to a lot of different specialists and get MRIs regularly. Currently he has been able to keep up with his medical debt and we are fortunate enough to have well paying jobs. I am worried in the future if he is ever unable to work if we would be able to keep up with the bills. So far they have been around 5k a year but could be higher. I was wondering if this would be something to consider before I married him? Would it be better to stay single for financial reasons?
