My company has hit a downturn and has offered severance packages to certain employees (the expensive ones). I am a high performer with a good relationship with people in the C-suite but it’s not like they are invulnerable to the board either.
When the company was doing well I was on the fast track. If it wasn’t going through a downturn I would still be.
Do I stay or start looking? Never been through a lay-off before.
