I bought a pair of Surrey Chelsea slip on boots (not seconds) earlier this month from the Allen Edmonds website. When I opened the shoe box, I noticed a big scratch on the side of one of the boots. Something I couldn’t just rub off.
I returned that pair and AE sent a new pair. More small scuffs that don’t rub off. I’m pretty frustrated about this and just considering returning the shoes and not asking for a third pair. There are also white markings on the cloth part of the boot, it looks like they were guiding markers on there to sew leather.
Has anyone had issues with their shoes (these are imported) before?
