I'm looking at replacing our fans (with integrated light) with newer remote controlled ones. Currently my fans have a light switch and a fan switch on the wall, each controlling the fan and the light separately.It is my understanding when installing a remote control fan you cap off one of the wall switches, leaving the other wall switch to basically only turn on/off power to the fan/light combination.Then the remote will control everything.Is there a way to wire things that you can control the fan/light with the wall switches AND the remote?I could see certain people in my household misplacing the remote or forgetting to place it in a designated area, leaving me stumbling around in the dark lol. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2oDrJwQ
