Capitalizing their own R&D through roll-up acquisitions? How does that look on a balance sheet like how do you put two and two together like that? Look I'm a fan of Chanos and just short sellers in general yes but this is crucial to know as a long hold investor because of the incentive management has to make their income statements and balance sheets look good. What does capitalizing something look like (capitalizing R&D, capitalizing contracts for workers, etc.)?
