I like the idea of Thredup and have purchased a few items. However, I find that the high-end designer items are excessively priced. For instance, there may be a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti shoes that cost $400; and even though shoes for that designer generally cost between $600-$1,000+ (for a brand new pair); the styles that Thredup sells are much older styles and often don't appear to be in great shape.
Their prices are inconsistent and seem to fluctuate from one day to the next. Being that they are a used clothing/items store; the prices could be lower, especially for the better quality items.
