It will be next year before I'm ready but I'm wondering if I should build my own cabin or buy a rent to own? I could buy it up front which would eliminate payments. My cabin will only need to be about 300 sq ft and then I want a small shed that's about 200 sq ft.I read that these RTO builders can sometimes cut corners and the buildings aren't safe so that has me worried. At the same time, I've never built anything like this myself of this kind of scale. I've built dog kennels, cat enclosures, chicken coops, etc. I think I could do it myself if I researched some more though. Is it possible to build a 300 sq ft (with reclaimed materials) tiny home for around $3,000 and a 200 sq ft shed for maybe $1,500?Thoughts? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2HEqrbi
