I recently got a job and I have to move out of my moms place because she has section 8. Basically if anyone has income in a section 8 house they have to pay the entire rent, so doesnt make sense to do that when I can just pay rent elsewhere. I dont have a lot of stuff in terms of house items, so outside of a bed, a nightstand and a book shelf, thats basically it for furniture. I havent seen an apartment yet that im too happy with, the area where I want to move dont have a lot of studios/1 brs for some reason.
I initially thought getting an apartment was best but the more i think about it renting a room seems like a good option until i find a place im satisfied with. One thing about renting a room is that I dont want to move twice, or 1 and a half. I'm not too worried about privacy really, as long as I have my own room that would be enough for me. Just want some input from the folks here at frugal
