I'm a recent university grad moving to Boston for the first time. My base salary is 100k. I have no loans or debt. Is it stupid to pay $2300/ month for rent? I don't know a soul who lives in Boston and I really don't want roommates. The apartment is in a pretty central location in Dorchester/ South Bay 2 miles from where I'll be working, and I plan to take public transportation (I have the option of taking the bus or the train). It has a bunch of amenities like in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, community gym, etc.

Can I live comfortably like this?
