So my husband and I currently live in Fort Smith, Arkansas and we’re looking to move to a mountain town in a few years! We cannot stand the south (heat, racism, homophobia, extreme conservatives) so what towns are very close to mountains but also have fun things to do near by? The cost of living cannot be super high (I’m an elementary teacher and he’s an electrician) TIA for your suggestions :)
