Is it possible to have two part-time jobs (specifically, a host at a restaurant) while managing to have your schedules not overlap?
I've never worked a part-time job before, so I don't know how schedules work or how shifts get picked up. In the restaurant business I'm not sure if your schedule changes frequently or what.
Would it be best during the interview for the second job to just mention that I already have one job and I'd need a schedule that doesn't overlap with it?
How exactly do I go about it? Trying to make ends meet, willing to put in the hours (I know it's going to be hard) but I'm just not sure if restaurants would be okay with this, since I'd obviously need a consistent schedule that doesn't change so they don't overlap.
