Hello fellow Frugal beings,
I picked a Toastmaster box fan at an estate sale where they were selling anything you can fit in a box for 5$ (so it's basically free as I had other stuffs which covered the 5$). The fan works perfectly fine and it's missing the knob over the off / speed control. I can twist the shaft but its rather hard. I'm trying to find a replacement which would fit. It's a D-shaped shaft. Any help in finding this piece would be really appreciated.

I got a hack solution which is working fine. Wife found a plastic strip which went inside the notch and viola!!!
