as a citizen of my community Today I went to my local college where I learned I can check out five books for one month. I learned that there is a dental clinic in campus where I can get low cost cleanings and xrays , I learned there are reduced prices on some car services at the auto lab nd that there are self defense classes available to the public. They have a job resource and training center there that is aligned with a local thrift store. Then when I left there I stopped by a local church and learned that they also loan books to community members. they have also got dishes, a good pantry a clothing for interviews giveaway center , yard tools and child care recommendations ..I had read on here about public libraries but there may be more a lot more than anyone was aware of. Does your community have untapped resources? Do you know how to find out?
