Our front load washing machine died and it also didn't fit in the new house we just downsized into. I bought a washing machine at an estate sale and it stinks. It smells when we wash clothes, it smells when the door is open, and it leaves residue (non smelling) on clothes. How can I go about removing the stench? I've taken off all the hoses and washed them, I dumped out all the water that was in it when we got it (it really smelled like sewage water) but the smell still lingers.
