I was cleaning my dryer duct vents in my apartment and discovered that there is a 1" gap in between the 90 degree elbow that goes into my unit and the 11' rigid metal duct that goes to the outside. I do not have easy access to the outside of these ducts without removing drywall. I would really prefer not to remove any drywall. I was thinking of using this tape to tape in the gap from inside the vent (I can access 1.5feet of the vent from inside my apt with my arm)Is this a viable fix for the issue I am facing? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2G370Ip
