Hi everyone, I'm in the market for a high-end office chair that'll feel comfortable enough to be the "perfect" chair for me. I can purchase a refurbished chair for about 50% off, but - is that a safe buy? How old is too old? What wear should I look out for, and how much would potential future repairs cost?
And despite the hefty price tag, I'm open to the idea of purchasing a new Herman Miller chair because they are backed by a 12-year warranty. But with how long-lasting these chairs are, am I even likely to make use of the warranty?
I'm open to other brands, like Steelcase, as well. Let me know what your experiences are, so that I may make the best purchase. Thank you!
