I dropped out of business school and went working with my uncle who’s a carpenter. I then started an electrician apprenticeship.. which I didn’t like so I left and I’m now looking at returning to college.
Part of me now wants to get my degree, probably a masters and start into some management consulting or IB career.
The other half wants to get an apprenticeship qualify as a carpenter and move to Canada (from Ireland) and start a trim, custom carpentry shop and make furniture on the side.
Some would argue that’s a waste for me.. I got on very well in school with minimal effort (which came back to bite me later).. I’m pretty smart, was running the stores and logging equipment checks after a month or so as an apprentice electrician. But part of me still wants it simple, and part wants the moon, the stars and a brownstone overlooking Central Park.
I don’t know what the hell to do
