I recently had my floors replaced, from carpet to hard flooring. As the floors are now lower, there are gaps under ALL my doors (which I hadn't anticipated). The doors and walls are all freshly painted white and the floors are very light.Sound and draughts travel under the doors, it is quite 'cheap' feeling now.A builder suggested taking the doors off their hinges, adding wood to the bottom, sanding and repainting all the doors. Is there a quicker/easier way?Note - I have very little experience in DIY but have a local handyman who can help, he is coming to do a few odd jobs shortly anyway so I can add this to the list.Location: Melbourne, Australia. I have a local Bunnings store. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2XvaEFF
