On February 15, I e-filed my tax return through my accountant (who also files/pays my quarterlies). I have received two separate letters stating they needed an additional 60 days. This is the first year that I filed the EEOC an I have received two separate letters stating they needed an additional 60 days. I filed EIC and Childcare. I called and all they told me was they’ll put a notice into the person/office working on it. I’m so frustrated. The refund was over $5k and it’s really hurting us to wait 4+ months. Has anyone been in this situation before? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
