Just got a Vanguard account to buy some VTSAX. After paying the initial $3,000, what does it look like put more money into the index fund?

After paying the initial $3000 to get into VSTAX, what does it look like to buy more? Do you buy more by the share, like $72 a share?

Sorry if this is a dumb question I’m just genuinely confused.
